VENEZUELANS IN COLOMBIA

In this post, I choose to address a topic that is rarely mentioned. which is racism toward Venezuelans in Colombia. We frequently discuss incidents or societal concerns that have occurred in industrialized countries. However, I believe it is more important to discuss countries other than China, the United States, and so on.
Every day, racist and xenophobic banners against Venezuelans arise in many areas of Bogotá, and in society as a whole, racist sentiments spread against the residents of their neighboring nation, to whom they previously immigrated by the millions.
No one has decried the large presence in various sections of the city of posters asking for racial violence against Venezuelans, as most Colombian politicians and legislators have for years who have not walked the streets of Bogotá, either in the centre or in the outlying districts.

The atmosphere is preceded by a rarefied environment prone to such acts, as occurred in Germany in the 1930s, when anti-Semitic hysteria soon progressed to the Holocaust and the death chambers. The repercussions are well known: six million Jews "disappeared" in the gas chambers. Venezuelans are now in the limelight, thanks to a segment of the population as well as political authority.
The unjustified, racist, and xenophobic attacks on Bogotá Mayor Claudia López, the perceptible increase in insecurity at the mercy of an inept and ineffective government, and the arrival of millions of Venezuelans as a result of the lack of control prevailing in our borders, among other factors, have a lot to do with the perception that a large portion of criminal acts are committed by Venezuelan citizens, which is completely false and can be refuted.
López, by the way, ostensibly belongs to the left and fights in the ranks of the Greens, but he has more than earned the leadership of Colombia's new racist left. Mussolini, by the way, came from the left, and you can see where he ended up.
Colombia, by the way, has never been Switzerland or Norway in terms of security; in fact, our indices are African, and violence and crime have always been a part of our existence. That policy of hurling balls and blaming others for our troubles is a typical Colombian, dare I say Latin American, approach. If our officials, such as our mayor, are unable to address questions concerning our security, we should consider whether they are capable of carrying out their obligations or if they should be removed.
Racism as a political excuse to explain the roots of our country's failure is an old and depleted resource. Venezuelans are not guilty of anything but being poor and living in a country enslaved by a gang of looters, demagogues, and chronically unproductive people. They deserve support, encouragement, and assistance, but not prejudice and unfair disparaging labels based on their ethnicity.
The preceding posts addressed linguistic issues, racism, and socioeconomic issues. This article was about racism in general. That behaviour is unacceptable, as I have stated in past writings, and being more conscious of our differences should be the aim at the conclusion of each piece that I publish on this platform.

ANTI-TURKISH SENTIMENT IN GERMANY

Languages and language discrimination were the subjects of my earlier articles. Today's post will address racism, which goes beyond different types of biases based on language disparities. This type of behavior blames or severely criticizes not just one's culture, but also one's skin color and appearance. WHAT IS ANTI-TURKISH SENTIMENT? Anger, intolerance, or prejudice aimed towards Turks, their culture, and their language is known as anti-Turkish sentiment (Turkish: Türk düşmanl) or Turkophobia (Turkish: Türkofobi). The term refers to anti-Turkish sentiment directed not just towards Turks everywhere, but also at Ottoman subjects and descendants of ethnic Turks, such as Syrian and Iraqi Turkmen. It is also credited to smaller ethnic groups in the Balkans, such as Albanians, Bosniaks, and others, who grew up under the influence of Turkish culture and customs while adopting to Islam, particularly under the Ottoman Empire. EXAMPLES OF RACISM TOWARS TURKS IN GERMANY? Several ac...
